Who We Are

Nobel Laureate Mother Teresa Charitable Trust (MTCT) was established to carry forward the enduring humanitarian legacy of St. Mother Teresa, whose life embodied compassion, dignity, humility, and selfless service to humanity. Inspired by her unwavering commitment to the poor, the vulnerable, and the marginalized, MTCT works to ensure that every individual has the opportunity to live with dignity, hope, and purpose.

Guided by the timeless principle, "Service to Mankind is Service to God," the Trust was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: no one should be deprived of basic human needs or equal opportunities to lead a dignified life. This vision continues to shape every programme, partnership, and initiative we undertake.

Over the past three decades, MTCT has grown from a grassroots humanitarian initiative into a trusted development organization delivering sustainable, community-driven solutions. Through strong partnerships with government institutions, development agencies, CSR partners, philanthropic foundations, volunteers, and local communities, we have expanded our reach and strengthened our impact.

Through our implementation arm, Mother Teresa Forum, we work closely with volunteers, community leaders, and grassroots organizations to deliver integrated programmes in healthcare, education, women and child empowerment, sustainable livelihoods, disaster response, environmental sustainability, skill and community development. Every intervention is designed to empower communities, build resilience, and create lasting social change.
